I also love how we bt into characters from other stories. To start with, I often found myself questioning the believability of the twenty-four hour time-table, especially in the beginning. I get that Sarah is trying to adjust to a new way of life, but I just felt like she and Kristopher grew distant over the course of the book. I was also on the fencing team for two years, an experience that actually inspired a couple storylines, and regret that I did not continue with that sport.

There were way too many characters and the book jumped to too many different points of view, and although the gimmick of it all taking place in 24 hours was all right, there was still no real character development and most of atwater-rhodse multitude of characters were so indistinct it was hard to tell them apart. Sarah’s pride is seriously injured and after an encounter with Christopher and a very traumatized victim of another vampire, Sarah receives an invitation from Nikolas to a party.

I was sad that she’d spent what felt like to me too much time on that series, and had left this one hanging with more to be told. Too q On first read, I didn’t like this one. In spite of these problems, almost everything else works well. All Just Glass is a sequel of sorts to Shattered Mirror.
