A pleasantly delightful read. While there are some stories that seem to lack some meat, there is plenty in this book that made maia purchase worthwhile—especially the animal stories.

I would have liked more ‘dog’ columns, as I bought the book expecting dog stories based on the title, but otherwise, I enjoyed the book very much, and the format lent itself well to reading a couple columns before bed every night Bad Dogs Have More Fun is an unforgettable collection of more than seventy-five newspaper articles from The Philadelphia Inquirer written by former columnist John Grogan. I hugged my own cats and went to sleep, still uneasy for another couples lost family member.


Once again, John Grogan was able to capture the world in his eyes and write down what mattered to him about cqchorros and the people who call it home. This is a collection of John Grogan’s newspaper columns that he wrote for the Philadelphia Enquirer. His columns are a fun way to start the day with someone who feels the little irks that we all encounter day to day.

This was an okay book. Oct 27, Giorgia rated it liked it. Just a collection of the author’s newspaper columns. Not so, few of these stories are funny, and fewer still are about animals.
