I don’t know if you can post them to this group. A very fast solution is to convert the png file into eps format. To center your picture you could use. I didn’t know convert: The rescaled version looks a little blurrier, as you’ve downsampled it with something. Back to what I should do… It is fairly safe to assume current printer will have n least dpi, and let’s make it simple that the altex area is just 5″.

Mico k 30 You should remember that the printer has to do half-toning to print your picture.
But when I submit it online to a scientific journal for publication, it compiles it on the server and sends me the resultant PDF which has all these errors that prevent it from bouhding. This should print reasonably well. The true size of the image is x in pixels. For dvipdfm xone should use dvipdfm or dvipdfmx option of graphicx pacakge, and use extractbb ebbxbb program to produce.
My printer HP5 has a fairly good resolution, but previously I was forced to capture frames that are merely around pixel width. In my case it turned out that I had a file named figure. Dvips I think can’t, graphlc even if it could I doubt it would improve picture quality.

Before that, I thought, the bb would be always the same, not depending on the program used for conversion. You are trying to run pdflatex in DVI-mode, sise only eps figures are allowed.
What wide in cm or inch, if you must do you want the image to have in the printout? I have fptex 0.
But in order for that to work I had to comment out the following 2 packages:. In gv you can set.
Do you really want help? It also prints as I’d expect on my laser printer. If you use gifconv instead, you will get a small file with still perfect quality. Use your usual capturing tools.
Is it possiblt to include figure files of both eps and jpg in the same latex file? It is just a fact.
